CD album | gg506
Dave-id Busaras is a founding member of Irish avantgarde rock group Virgin Prunes. He was one of only two members to stay with the band for its entire existence. In November 1982, the Virgin Prunes released their debut studio album, ...If I Die, I Die (produced by Colin Newman of Wire), as well as the double 10" EP Hérésie, a French box set. In July 1986, the band finally released a second studio album, The Moon Looked Down and Laughed Later that year, Gavin Friday left the group. After disbanding as Virgin Prunes, D'Nellon, Strongman and Busaras formed an offshoot group called The Prunes, which released three albums between 1988 and 1991. Davie-id's first solo album Smegma Structures Don't Rhyme came out in 1995 on German Indie label Scout Releases. Since the beginning of the 2000's Dave-id has released four albums, one solo and three collaborations. He is also a member of Gordon Whitlow's supergroup Sorry for Laughing for whose latest album he has contributed all vocals. In contrast to Dave's latest releases, L.W.N.
